Dr. Hank Taliaferro
Raised in Annapolis, MD, educated at the Dartmouth College and Columbia University’s College of Physicians and Surgeons, Dr. Taliaferro obtained his specialty training in Emergency Medicine through the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque. Once introduced to the Land of Enchantment, he couldn't leave.
After completing his residency, Hank worked for Rehoboth McKinley Christian Health Care Services in Gallup, NM, and for Presbyterian Healthcare Services in Albuquerque, NM, as an emergency medicine physician. He directed Gallup Med Flight and was a member of Presbyterian Hospital's Quality Assurance Committee. In addition to being a skillful emergency medicine doctor, Hank brings enthusiasm and a strong command of the Spanish language, learned while completing a year of avian research in Costa Rica, to MD Urgent Care.
Hank and his wife Kelly, a native Californian, have two boys, Henry and Matthew, and a German Shorthaired Pointer, Scout. During their free time they enjoy hiking, camping, soccer and hunting.
