Dr. Greg Pilette
Born and raised in Detroit, Michigan he and his wife Desbah have three sons Tyler, Treven and Tanner.
Dr Pilette states he owes his success in high school football to his coach Mr. Joseph Pascuzzi, Dr. Tom Pascuzzi’s father. Dr. Pilette attended Holy Cross College in Worcester, Massachusetts and graduated with a BA in Psychology in 1971. He spent the next year as a volunteer teacher in a rural area of Jamaica, West Indies.
He graduated from the Michigan State College of Medicine in 1978. He did his specialty training at the University of New Mexico and became board certified in Pediatrics. Because of his interest in Emergency Medicine he also earned his board certification in Emergency Medicine. He has practiced Emergency Medicine for the past 27 years.
Dr Pilette started work for Presbyterian Hospital as an emergency department physician in 1982; He worked for Presbyterian until January of 2011. During his term he was a Medical Director for many years. As medical director he chaired the emergency department quality assurance committee and helped start the chest pain center and instituted measurements to improve the safety and quality of patient care.
Dr. Greg and his family enjoy the artistic and recreational opportunities in New Mexico.
